On this Web site, I put some important drumming tips and lessons,
and I hope you've found them useful. But, I can't do it all. (And believe me,
on occasion I've tried). Luckily, there some great books and DVDs out there
that can help you get up to speed or become a better drummer.
I've created this page after discovering an online music store called
Music44. It sells music related books, DVDs, etc. at
very good prices. But what makes this store even more exciting,
aside from a large drum learning inventory,
is that it allowed me to compile packages of multiple items
and let others purchase them at a discount.
The bottom line is that buying one of those packages costs
less than buying each item individually.
Music44's package deals were the best I've seen on the Net (or anywhere),
so I therefore decided to invest a few hours locked in a dark room in front
of my computer screen researching and compiling some high quality drum lesson
packages. I also tried to come up with a good variety without offering an overwhelming
amount of choices.
As I said before, buying the items in a package makes things cheaper, but
even if you'd like to get just one book, or one DVD, looking at the packages
will be beneficial. This is because I only included items that are highly regarded
by an overwhelming majority of people, therefore you'll have a guideline by
which to make your own choice.

There aren't too many good books for the utter drum set beginner,
but when I first wanted to learn, I decided to trust the For Dummies
brand, and sure enough Drums for Dummies did not disappoint.
I therefore included it as the only book in this package.
But, since visual lessons are crucial to a good understanding of the drum set,
the two DVDs make great companions to the book.
